Each year in May, YBP organizes an Annual Conference as a way to facilitate discussion by regional leaders from business, government, and education about topics relevant to the Yellowstone-Teton region. Each conference focuses on a central idea. In 2004 the theme was “A Sustainable Future for the Yellowstone-Teton Region”. In 2005 the conference centered on “Prospects for Outdoor Recreation in the Yellowstone-Teton Region”, in 2006 the theme was "Dimensions of Regional Leadership". In 2007 the theme was "Sustainable Development in the Yellowstone-Teton Region". In 2008 the theme will be "CONNECTING THE DOTS: Moving People and Promise Across the Yellowstone-Teton Region"
