UnCommon Sense is a business sustainability leadership program in its 5th year, with a proven track record for helping businesses save money while contributing to their community's social and environmental well-being. There is no better time to join YBP's fifth class of UnCommon Sense participants and partner with regional businesses to become more sustainable in all aspects of your operations. A combination of workshops in conjunction with back-home implementation truly help you achieve sustainability goals for your business. UnCommon Sense is a great way for your business to tackle the often overwhelming topic of sustainability, and offers group and one-on-one support tailored to your specific business needs. Here is a testimonial from the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, who will graduate in April, 2010: "The Buffalo Bill Historical Center has participated in the Yellowstone Business Partnership's UnCommon Sense program for the past eighteen months. Although we have not yet completed the program, we have already seen benefits, and would recommend, without qualification, that any Wyoming business participate. Perhaps the most important aspect of UnCommon Sense is how it changes our thinking about sustainability." Lee Haines, Public Relations Director, Buffalo Bill Historical Center-2010 UnCommon Sense graduate UnCommon Sense business participants are eligible to apply for Business Training Grants through the Wyoming Workforce Development Training Fund to help cover up to 60% of the costs associated with participation in our next UnCommon Sense class. Funds can be used to cover tuition, travel and workshop costs. Don't miss this opportunity to take your business to the next level! Application period is open through March 15th. Only 20 businesses will be accepted into our next class, starting in April, 2010.
