David LeMieux - Retrofitting the
Regional Workplace - Lighting for the 21st Century

Mr. David LeMieux has over 10-years of engineering experience in the
environmental and renewable energy fields and holds B.S. and M.S.
degrees from Montana Tech in Butte, MT. Through a former employer, he
has 11-U.S.A. and 2-European patents pending for large scale Wind
Energy. Mr. LeMieux is currently working in the State Buildings Program
for the Montana Department of Environmental Quality; his focus is
retrofitting antiquated lighting, heating and ventilating systems in
old buildings with modern energy efficient systems. Mr. LeMieux also
provides Montana residents who are applying for small scale renewable
energy loans, with technical project evaluations.
Presentation: Aspects of Value-Based Commercial Lighting. This
presentation will outline lighting technologies, illustrate successful
and unsuccessful lighting applications and provide information on
rebate programs for energy efficient lighting. The presentation will
focus on sustainable approaches to energy conservation balanced with
the economic value of quality lighting in commercial space.
