Laura Fedro - Retrofitting the
Regional Workplace - Healthy Furnishings and
Interiors

Laura Fedro has designed residential and commercial
interiors since 1985. Her professional background encompasses
work on the east and west coasts, beginning in San Francisco,
continuing to New York City, New Haven, Connecticut, and Los Angeles,
California. After apprenticing with some of the nation's best
design firms, such as Skidmore Owings and Merrill, and Herb Newman and
Associates, Laura opened Laura A. Fedro Interiors in Los Angeles, in
1991. She relocated the business to Bozeman, Montana in 1995 and since
then has made sustainable interior design the focus of her work. She
has incorporated green products and finishes into many civic and
residential projects in the region. A short list of projects
completed include the recently LEED Silver Certified new Bozeman Public
Library; the Bozeman Daily Chronicle; the ski lodges at Bridger Bowl,
Bozeman; the Mountain Inn Hotel in Big Sky; and Mountain Sky Guest
Ranch, a 5 star guest ranch in Pray, MT.
