Michael WackerlyMichael Wackerly 

was born and raised in Canton Ohio. He graduated from the
University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
He has worked in transportation for over thirty years. He has been the director for the START Bus in Jackson Hole, Wyoming since September of 2002.  He performs this function through a contract the START Board has with his employer, First Transit.  

Michael worked the preceding 25 years as the director of the Richland County Transit Board in Mansfield Ohio. Mr Wackerly is a registered professional engineer and served as president of the Ohio Public Transit Association from 1995 to 1997. He has two grown sons, one living in Seattle Washington and one living in Delaware Ohio.
