Concurrent Session II - Front and Center: Transportation in Our National Parks

Gary PollockGary Pollock

has worked for the National Park Service for more than 25 years in a wide variety of field and park management positions in several different parks and offices. Gary currently serves as the Management Assistant for Grand Teton National Park, providing assistance and support to the Superintendent on a wide variety of key park management issues—including the Transportation Plan, the Yellowstone/Grand Teton Winter Use Management Plan, Jackson Hole Airport activities and issues, land protection, acquisition, and inholdings, and legislative matters. Gary also works on a variety of issues related to park partners such as the Grand Teton National Park Foundation, and the Murie Center, and coordinates the development of partnership agreements.  Prior to coming to work at Grand Teton in 2002, Gary was selected as the National Park Service's Bevinetto Congressional Fellow for 2000-2001, during which time he worked on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and the NPS Office of Legislative and Congressional Affairs.
