Rick Hoeningshusen
Rick Hoeninghausen
has over 25 years of experience in travel, tourism and recreation management and marketing. Rick has held his current position of Director of Marketing and Sales for Yellowstone National Park Lodges operated by Xanterra Parks & Resorts since 1998.  His Yellowstone experience has been lengthy and varied, from seasonal worker beginning in 1980, to location manager in 1997 and Assistant Director of Marketing and Sales from 1988 to 1990.  When not in Yellowstone, Rick has served as Marketing Manager for the Flamingo Lodge and Marina in Everglades National Park in Florida, Manager of the Armed Forces Outdoor Recreation Management Training Center in Mountain Home, Idaho, and Site Director for the Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation Area near Wilmington, North Carolina.  Rick currently serves as the President of the Wyoming Travel Industy Coalition and Vice Chairman of the Park County (WY) Travel Council.  Aside from following the many activities of his two teenage daughters, Rick's interests are focused on enjoying the outdoors.  "I love my front porch where on any given day I can sip my morning coffee with bison, elk, pronghorn, whitetail deer and/or the breathtaking Electric Peak. Its a tough job, but somebody's got to do it!"
