Concurrent Session I - B - Healthy Choices: Regional Trail Networks and Walkable Communities

Tim AdamsTim Adams 

has been the Executive Director for Teton Valley Trails and Pathways since November 1st, 2006.  For the last 20 years, Tim has been working in outdoor oriented non-profits starting with student directed non-profits in undergraduate school.  From there, he worked in a variety of outdoor and environmental education programs and schools including The North Carolina Outward Bound School, Yosemite National Institutes, and as the director of an environmental education school in San Francisco for the YMCA of the East Bay.  He holds an Undergraduate Degree in Physical Education and a Master’s Degree in Experiential Education.  

His passion has always been education and the natural world and believes one way we assure our great natural resources are sustained for generations is by making the outdoors accessible and inviting for everyone.  

Tim and his wife, Shawn live in Victor, Idaho with their two boys, Finnegan and Benjamin,
