Jim Nations is the public relations program manager for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Rocky Mountain Oil Field Testing Center located in Casper, Wyo. and at the Teapot Dome oil field by Midwest, Wyo.  His professional career has been a combination of public relations/education in energy, transportation and space exploration. He was previously with the Wyoming Department of Transportation, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Oklahoma State University, and NASA’s Johnson Space Center. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in public relations and a Master of Science in Space Studies, both from the University of North Dakota, with doctoral studies at OSU. In addition to his informal education work with DOE Science Bowl, Wyoming FIRST LEGO League and the Wyoming Science Olympiad, Jim is one of two NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassadors in Wyoming.  His biweekly WATT’S UP energy efficiency column and television segment can be read in the Casper Journal and viewed on KCWY-TV.”
